TCU Twisted
APO BENEFIT CONCERT
As Co-Benefit Concert Chair of TCU's chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, I directed our annual benefit concert with my friend and co-chair Alli Franken to raise money to support our philanthropy Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS. This concert titled "TCU Twisted" featured a gender-bent revue show of songs from Broadway musicals. Feel free to take a look at our production photos and our closing song "Seasons of Love," featuring a speech by our 2019-2020 president Tasia Jewel.

Lyric stage
Man of La mancha
In June 2019, I had the opportunity to work as the Assistant Director & Dramaturg for Lyric Stage's production of Man of La Mancha in Dallas, TX, under the direction of Penny Ayn Maas. Through this process, I learned a lot from Penny about staging & movement, troubleshooting & resilience, and the production process in a local professional theatre.
As dramaturg for this production, I assembled a document of basic background information about the show and distributed it to the production team at our company meeting. Please take a look at the document that is included below.
Pericles
texas christian university
I served as Assistant Director & Dramaturg for Texas Christian University's production of Pericles, Prince of Tyre by William Shakespeare. This production was directed by Professor Krista Scott. While creating this show, Krista taught me about staging in a thrust, analyzing Shakespearean text, and unifying design elements to efficiently convey a range of settings.
In my work as dramaturg, I did basic research on the history of the play, gathered background information on the major cities/settings discussed in the play, and compiled a list of historical references in the text. A shortened version of my work was included in the program, as included below.
